Ventolin Injection is indicated in adults and adolescents. Ventolin Injection provides short-acting (4-6 hour) bronchodilation with a fast onset (within 5 minutes) in reversible airways obstruction. It is indicated for the relief of severe bronchospasm.
Ventolin Solution for Intravenous Infusion is indicated in adults and adolescents. Ventolin Solution for Intravenous Infusion should be administered under the direction of a physician. It is indicated for two distinct clinical situations: a) For the relief of severe bronchospasm. b) To arrest labour between 22 and 37 weeks of gestation in patients with no medical or obstetric contraindication to tocolytic therapy.
Ventolin syrup is indicated in adults, adolescents and children aged 2 to 12 years. Salbutamol is a selective beta-2 adrenoceptor agonist providing short-acting (4-6 hour) bronchodilation in reversible airways obstruction. Ventolin syrup can be used in the management of asthma, bronchospasm and/or reversible airways obstruction. Relief of bronchospasm in bronchial asthma of all types. Ventolin syrup is suitable oral therapy for children and adults who are unable to use an inhaler device.
Ventolin Accuhaler is indicated in adults, adolescents and children aged 4 to 11 years. Ventolin Accuhaler can be used in the management of asthma, bronchospasm and/or reversible airways obstruction. Ventolin Accuhaler is particularly suitable for the relief of asthma symptoms. It should be used to relieve symptoms when they occur, and to prevent them in those circumstances recognised by the patient to precipitate an asthma attack (e.g. before exercise or unavoidable allergen exposure).
Ventolin Nebules are indicated in adults, adolescents and children aged 4 to 11 years. For babies and children under 4 years of age, see Section 4.2. Salbutamol is a selective β2-agonist providing short-acting (4-6 hour) bronchodilation with a fast onset (within 5 minutes) in reversible airways obstruction. Ventolin Nebules are indicated for use in the routine management of chronic bronchospasm unresponsive to conventional therapy, and in the treatment of acute severe asthma.
