1) For the relief of headaches, toothache, migraine, neuralgia, sore throat and period pains. 2) For the symptomatic relief of influenza, feverishness, rheumatic pains, sciatica, lumbago, fibrositis, muscular aches and pains.
Refractory seizures associated with tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) Votubia is indicated as adjunctive treatment of patients aged 2 years and older whose refractory partial onset seizures, with or without secondary generalisation, are associated with TSC. Subependymal giant cell astrocytoma (SEGA) associated with TSC Votubia is indicated for the treatment of adult and paediatric patients with SEGA associated with TSC who require therapeutic intervention but are not amenable to surgery. The evidence is based on analysis of change in SEGA volume. Further clinical benefit, such as improvement in disease-related symptoms, has not been demonstrated.
Epilepsy Adults and adolescents aged 13 years and above - Adjunctive or monotherapy treatment of partial seizures and generalised seizures, including tonic-clonic seizures. - Seizures associated with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome. Lamictal is given as adjunctive therapy but may be the initial antiepileptic drug (AED) to start with in Lennox-Gastaut syndrome. Children and adolescents aged 2 to 12 years - Adjunctive treatment of partial seizures and generalised seizures, including tonic-clonic seizures and the seizures associated with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome. - Monotherapy of typical absence seizures. Bipolar disorder Adults aged 18 years and above - Prevention of depressive episodes in patients with bipolar I disorder who experience predominantly depressive episodes (see section 5.1). Lamictal is not indicated for the acute treatment of manic or depressive episodes.
Carglumic Acid 200 mg Dispersible Tablets are indicated in the treatment of: • hyperammonaemia due to N-acetylglutamate synthase primary deficiency.
Tivicay is indicated in combination with other anti-retroviral medicinal products for the treatment of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infected adults, adolescents and children of at least 4 weeks of age or older and weighing at least 3 kg.
Parkinsonism - idiopathic, post-encephalitic. Previous neurosurgery is not a contra-indication to Madopar. Patients requiring a more rapid onset of action, e.g. patients suffering from early morning or afternoon akinesia, or who exhibit “delayed on” or “wearing off” phenomena, are more likely to benefit from Madopar Dispersible.
