Sosei Group to change its name to Nxera Pharma
29 March 2024-Shareholders of Sosei Group on March 27 approved the company’s proposal to change its corporate name to “Nxera Pharma,” effective April 1. The name Nxera was coined from the words “Next” and “Era” to “express the company’s determination to be a leader in the next era of science and healthcare,”
Sosei Group had said in a statement issued last month to announce the rebranding plan. The company decided to adopt a unified corporate brand and corporate name for the group in conjunction with the merger of its wholly owned subsidiaries Sosei and Idorsia Pharmaceuticals Japan scheduled for April 1. Sosei Group acquired Idorsia in July last year.
