The 9th European Multidisciplinary Meeting on Urological Cancers (EMUC17) starts tomorrow in Barcelona, Spain, and runs until the 19th November.

The organisers at EMUC have been working collaboratively to provide medically focused key discussions which focus on urological cancers and the emerging therapies, treatment and improvement of quality of healthcare for this disease. The collaboration includes input and resources from ESMO, ESTRO and EAU.

To add to the scientific accolade, affiliated organisations, such as ESU, ESUI and EPCCCM have helped broaden the scientific programme.

The meeting will be run over 4 days and will include:

  • Hands on training courses in MRI scanning and Robotic Surgery (17th – 18th November)
  • Industry sessions focusing on treatment, imaging and newer emerging therapies
  • Friday 17th November offers the chance to take part in a multidisciplinary focus day session
