The International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) wants everyone to make vision count by reminding us that 80% of the world’s blind are avoidably so.

IAPB calls for all stakeholders to learn what they can, raise awareness, address vision issues in the community, and observe and promote World Sight Day.

About World Sight Day:

“2017 is the 5th year of the WHO Global Action Plan and IAPB encourages our members and partners to continue with our rolling theme- Universal Eye Health. This year, the call to action for World Sight Day is Make Vision Count.”

More information and tips on how you can get involved are available on the World Sight Day website.
