NICE recommends Xiapex (clostridial collagenase for injection) for treatment of moderate forms of Dupuytren's Contracture- Swedish Orphan Biovitrium
The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has in draft guidance recommended Xiapex (clostridial collagenase for injection) for certain patients with Dupuytren's Contracture, namely those patients with moderate forms of the condition. This recommendation reverses an earlier decision and was facilitated by a cut in price from Swedish Orphan Biovitrium.
