Moventig is launched in UK for treatment of opioid-induced constipation- AstraZeneca

Moventig (naloxegol) from AstraZeneca was approved in the EU on 8 December 2014 for treatment of opioid-induced constipation in adult patients who had an inadequate response to laxatives. In July 2015 the drug was recommended by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) and AstraZeneca has now announced that it has been launched in the United Kingdom.
