EU extends approval of Prevnar 13 vaccine (Pfizer) to adults aged 18-49
The EU has extended approval for Prevnar 13 vaccine, from Pfizer, for use in adults age 18-49 prevention of invasive Pneumococcal Disease. The drug already cleared for infants and children, as well as adults 50 and over. It is now available for almost all age groups in the EU.
