The Annual Congress of the European Crohn’s and Colitis Organisation (ECCO) has become a global reference for obtaining the latest information about advances in IBD. This is reflected in a record number of abstracts (over 1,000) being presented at this year’s event, the 13th Congress of ECCO. The submitted abstracts have been ranked, with the best chosen for plenary oral presentations as part of the main scientific programme, and other high-ranking abstracts being selected for parallel sessions of digital oral presentations. The remaining abstracts are being presented as posters. In a series of articles, we have reported news from this congress, covering a range of hot topics and including data presented in all three formats.
