Perioperative effects of levosimendan in CABG

Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) surgery offers significant long-term benefits to patients, however, those with reduced left ventricular ejection fraction face a substantial risk of morbidity and mortality. In this live webcast of the Orion satellite symposium from ISICEM 2018, Professor Matthias Heringlake from Lübeck University, Germany, presents the data on the perioperative use of levosimendan and other conventional inotropes in this patient population.
