0.9% isotonic saline solution is indicated : • for fluid replacement and provision of extracellular ions in near physiological concentration in conditions of extracellular-volume depletion, dehydration and electrolyte imbalance such as sodium depletion • as an isotonic medium for intravenous administration of medicinal products known to be compatible with 0.9% sodium chloride.

Surgery: Glyceryl trinitrate is indicated for: 1. the rapid control of hypertension during cardiac surgery. 2. reducing blood pressure and maintaining controlled hypotension during surgical procedures. 3. controlling myocardial ischaemia during and after cardiovascular surgery. Unresponsive Congestive Heart Failure: Glyceryl trinitrate may be used to treat unresponsive congestive heart failure secondary to acute myocardial infarction. Unstable Angina: Glyceryl trinitrate may be used to treat unstable angina that is refractory to treatment with beta-blockers and sublingual nitrates.
For the treatment of mild to moderate pain in patients who are unable to receive other paracetamol formulations such as lower strength liquid preparations, effervescent tablets or tablets.
