ACCP: The American College of Chest Physicians (ACCP) is the world’s largest clinical cardiopulmonary and critical care medical society with 16,600 members in 100 countries. Members include physicians, allied health professionals, and PhDs from the specialties of pulmonology, critical care medicine, thoracic surgery, cardiology, sleep, and other chest-related specialties.
ISTH: The ISTH is a membership association that supports a non-profit mission of education and stimulation of research through meetings, peer-reviewed publications and expert committees on practical issues related to research methods and standards
ESC: The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) represents nearly 55,000 cardiology professionals across Europe and the Mediterranean. ACC: ACC was chartered and incorporated as a teaching institution in 1949, and established its headquarters, called Heart House, in Bethesda, Maryland in 1977.
