'Zomig' Classic Tablets

Rapidly and reliably effective

Placebo-controlled clinical trials demonstrate that Zomig classic tablets achieve a significant headache response within 30 minutes after attack treatment compared with placebo.

Zomig is consistently effective with patients experiencing headache response and pain-free rates 2 hours after dosing in around 85% and 70% of attacks respectively.

These high rates of headache relief are maintained time after time.

Highly effective

High headache response rates for patients with moderate and severe migraine are achieved with Zomig classic tablets (2.5 and 5 mg). Headache pain can be abolished within 2 hours in as many as 84% of attacks when treating with Zomig classic tablets early in the course of an attack. Early treatment with Zomig can prevent the progression of mild headache to a more severe attack, and can offer other important patient benefits.

Whatever the characteristics of migraine, Zomig classic tablets provide rapid reliable relief patient-to-patient, attack-to-attack.

Effective patient-to-patient, attack-to-attack

Migraine symptoms vary between individuals and across attacks. Zomig is effective in patients with migraine associated with nausea and vomiting and with or without aura. Zomig is also equally effective in treating migraine attacks that are associated with menses or not. The effectiveness of Zomig is not influenced by age, gender or bodyweight. Zomig is also effective if taken early or late in the migraine and for attacks present upon awakening.

Well tolerated

Zomig has an excellent safety profile and is well tolerated for the acute treatment of migraine. Adverse events are consistent with those for the triptan class of drugs.

Zomig can be taken with or without food and with a range of commonly co-prescribed anti-migraine medications including analgesics, NSAIDs, anti-emetics and migraine preventive medication.
