| Drug description : | Liquid. |
| Presentation : | Liquid, minoxidil 2%, 5%. Regaine is not prescribable on the NHS. |
| Indications : | Alopecia androgenetica. |
| Adult Dosage : | 1 mL applied to scalp twice daily for minimum 4 months. Continue treatment or hair loss will recur. |
| Child Dosage : | Not applicable. |
| Contra Indications : | Sensitivity to minoxidil, ethanol or propylene glycol. Treated/ untreated hypertension. Scalp abnormality (psoriasis or sunburn). Shaved scalp. If topical medication is being used. |
| Special Precautions : | Broken skin. Hypertension; monitor BP. Should not be used during pregnancy or lactation. |
| Adverse Reactions : | Dermatitis. |
