| Indications : | Maxolon Tablets, syrup, injection and Paediatric liquid: Nausea and vomiting due to GI disorders, migraine, intolerance to failure, post-operative conditions, deep X-ray or cobalt therapy. |
| Adult Dosage : | Maxolon Tablets, Syrup and Injection: Over 20 years, 15 mg twice daily; maximum 0.5 mg/kg body-weight daily. CHILDREN and YOUNG ADULTS: Severe intractable vomiting of known cause and vomiting associated with cytotoxic drugs and radiotherapy only. Up to 10 kg body-weight, 1 mg twice daily; 10 - 14 kg, 1 mg two to three times daily; 15 - 19 kg, 2 mg two to three times daily; 20 - 29 kg, 2.5 mg three times daily; 30 - 59 kg, 5 mg three times daily; over 60 kg, as adults. Commence with lower dose, all orally, intramuscularly or intravenously; maximum 0.5 mg/kg body-weight daily. Maxolon SR: Over 20 years, 15 mg twice daily; maximum 0.5mg/kg body-weight daily.
