Drug description :

OVULOS

Presentation :

- Vía vaginal: 1 aplicación (5 g) cada 24 horas, a la hora de acostarse, durante 7 días consecutivos. Ovulos: 1 óvulo (100 mg), a la hora de acostarse durante 3 días consecutivos.

Indications :

- Vaginosis bacteriana.

Contra Indications :

Contraindicada en alergia a clindamicina u otros lincosánidos, así como durante el primer trimestre del embarazo.

Special Precautions :

Deberá someterse a un riguroso control clínico a los pacientes con historial de enfermedades gastrointestinales, en especial colitis. Adoptar medida higiénicas para controlar las causas de la infección y evitar las recaídas.

Adverse Reactions :

Los efectos adversos de este medicamento son, en general, leves y transitorios. Los efectos secundarios que se manifiestan más frecuentemente son: irritación vaginal o vulvar, vaginitis, cervicitis. Excepcionalmente (<1%): mareo, cefalea, náuseas, vómitos, diarrea, dolor abdominal y erupciones cutáneas. El tratamiento debe ser suspendido inmediatamente, en el caso de que el paciente experimente algún episodio de diarrea, dolor abdominal o hipersensibilidad.
