| Presentation : | Powder, sodium cellulose phosphate 4 .7 g. |
| Indications : | Hypercalciuria and recurrent formation of renal stones. Osteopetrosis. |
| Adult Dosage : | 15 g daily in three divided doses with meals. |
| Child Dosage : | 10 g daily in three divided doses with meals. Disperse required amount in water or sprinkle onto food. Administer 58 - 87 mg elemental magnesium twice daily to all patients. |
| Contra Indications : | Renal failure. Congestive heart failure and other conditions in which a low sodium intake is essential. Pregnancy. Lactation. |
| Special Precautions : | Growing children should be supervised. A low calcium diet should accompany therapy. Restrict foods rich in oxalate. |
| Adverse Reactions : | Diarrhoea. |
