| Presentation : | Beclazone: Beclometasone dipropionate 50 micrograms , 100 micrograms , 200 micrograms per dose. Beclazone 250 Inhaler: Beclometasone dipropionate 250 microgram per dose. Beclazone Easi-Breathe: Beclometasone dipropionate 50 micrograms , 100 micrograms , 250 micrograms per dose. |
| Indications : | Chronic reversible obstructive airways disease. |
| Adult Dosage : | Beclazone, Beclazone Easi- Breathe: 200 micrograms twice daily or 100 micrograms three or four times daily. Severe cases, initially 600 - 800 micrograms daily in divided doses reducing according to response. Beclazone 250 Inhaler: 500 micrograms twice daily or 250 micrograms four times daily; maximum 2000 micrograms daily. |
| Child Dosage : | Beclazone, Beclazone Easi- Breathe: 50 - 100 micrograms two, three or four times daily, or 100 - 200 micrograms twice daily. Beclazone 250 Inhaler: Not recommended. |
| Special Precautions : | Active or quiescent pulmonary tuberculosis. Pregnancy. Transferring from systemic steroids. |
| Adverse Reactions : | Hoarseness, candidiasis of mouth and throat. |
