Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is characterised by a gradual and permanent loss of kidney function that worsens as it progresses from stages 1 to 5. One of the most common complications of CKD is anaemia. The NSCLCs account for 80% of all lung cancers and can be further subdivided into squamous-cell carcinoma, large-cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma (which includes bronchioloalveolar-cell carcinoma [BAC] Pharmacologic management of asthma aims to control symptoms, prevent exacerbations and provide the best possible pulmonary function with minimal medications, side effects and risk factors. Insomnia, hormones released in the body are involved in certain aspects of homeostasis, including regulating the circadian rhythms established by the SCN of the hypothalamus.

Drug class description :  H2 -antagonists (H2 -receptor antagonists / H 2 -blockers).
Generic Name :  Nizatidine
Drug description :  Axid Capsules: 150mg pale/dark yellow capsule coded 'Lilly 3144'; 300 mg pale yellow/brown capsule coded 'Lilly 3145'. Axid Injection: ampoules.
Presentation :  Axid Capsules: Nizatidine 150mg , 300mg . Axid Injection: Nizatidine 25mg/ mL .
Indications :  Capsules: For the treatment of the following diseases where reduction of gastric acid is indicated: duodenal and benign gastric ulcers; prevention of duodenal or benign gastric ulcer recurrence; gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (including erosions, ulcerations and associated heartburn); gastric and/or duodenal ulcer associated with concomitant use of non- steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Injection: In hospitalised patients as an alternative to the oral dosage form, for short-term use in peptic ulcer patients until oral medication is indicated.
Adult Dosage :  Axid: Benign gastric and duodenal ulcers (including those associated with NSAIDs - treatment with NSAIDs may continue during treatment): 300 mg in evening for four or, if necessary, eight weeks. Alternatively, 150 mg morning and evening. Prophylaxis, 150 mg in the evening. Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease: 150 - 300 mg twice daily for up to 12 weeks. Dilute before administration. Continuous intravenous infusion: dilute 300mg (12mL) in 150mL of compatible intravenous solution and infuse at a rate to achieve 10mg per hour. Intermittent intravenous infusion: dilute 100mg (4mL) in 50mL of compatible intravenous solution and infuse over 15 minutes three times daily. Total daily dose should not exceed 480mg.
Child Dosage :  Not recommended.
Contra Indications :  Known hypersensitivity to H - receptor antagonists. 2
Special Precautions :  Impaired renal or hepatic function. Pregnancy, lactation. Symptomatic response to nizatidine does not preclude the presence of gastric malignancy.
Interactions :  Salicylates.
Adverse Reactions :  Sweating, urticaria, somnolence, raised liver enzymes, hepatitis, jaundice. Rarely, hypersensitivity reactions, serum sickness and anaphylaxis. Injection: pain and minor bruising at injection site. Rarely, tachycardia, bradycardia, postural hypotension and syncope after rapid intravenous injection.
