Managing Your Migraine Booklet

Managing Your Migraine is a patient-oriented booklet that provides comprehensive information on migraine and its management. Topics covered include what happens during an attack, treatment options, and impact tools, including the MIDAS questionnaire. The booklet was developed in consultation with Richard Lipton and Walter Stewart, two eminent researchers in the field of migraine who also developed the MIDAS questionnaire, and contains valuable information presented in a patient-friendly format.

It should be noted that there are now seven triptans currently available and that the US Headache Consortium guidelines recognise that triptans may be beneficial in patients with moderate-to-severe as well as severe migraine.

A patient booklet on managing your migraine: This booklet was written to help patients understand more about their migraine, how it affects their life and what they can do to find relief. We include two simple forms that they can use to check how severely it affects them.
