Acupuncture
There are several organisations which represent acupuncturists including:
The British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS). Full members of the BMAS must be UK registered doctors and dentists, although associate membership is also open to other health professionals, such as physiotherapists and nurses.
The British Acupuncture Council (BAcC). This is an organisation which accredits institutions providing acupuncture training. The BAcC requires their members to practise traditional forms of diagnosis and acupuncture treatment.
