Indications Primary bacterial skin infection.
Adult Dosage Apply up to three times daily, for up to 10 days.
Contra Indications History of hypersensitivity to any of the constituents.
Special Precautions Avoid eyes. Renal impairment. Discontinue treatment if a sensitisation reaction or severe local reaction occur. Pregnancy and lactation.
Interactions None stated.
Adverse Drug Reactions Very rarely, itching, burning, erythema, stinging and dryness localised to the area of application. Cutaneous sensitisation reactions to mupirocin or the ointment base have been reported rarely.
