• Generic Name
  Pseudoephedrine
• Presentation
  Galpseud: Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 60 mg Galpseud Linctus: Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 30 mg/5ml .
• Description
  Galpseud: white tablets. Galpseud Linctus: sugar-free.
• Indications
  Relief of nasal, sinus and upper respiratory congestion.
• Adult Dosage
  Galpseud: 1 four times daily. Galpseud Linctus: 10 mL three times daily.
• Child Dosage
  

  Galpseud: Use linctus. Galpseud Linctus: Under 2 years, not recommended; 2-6 years 2 .5 ml three or four times daily; 6-12 years, 5 ml three or four times daily.

• Special Precautions
  Diabetes, hyperthyroidism, hypertension, heart disease, raised intraocular pressure, prostatic enlargement.
• Interactions
  MAOIs, tricyclics, other sympathomimetics, appetite suppressants, furazolidone.
