  Solution, human anti-D immunoglobulin 1250 i.u. per mL.
• Description
  Solution in pre-loaded syringe.
• Indications
  Rh/ (D) incompatibility.
• Adult Dosage
  

  Antenatal prophylaxis, 1250 i.u. by intramuscular injection during weeks 28 and 34. Parturition, miscarriage, abortion or other sensitising event, 1250 i.u. within 72 hours.

  Transplacental haemorrhage: 5000 i.u. or 50 i.u. per mL of foetal blood transfered.

  Transfusion: 50 - 100 i.u. per mL of transfused blood by intramuscular injection.

  Not applicable.
• Special Precautions
  Patients with IgA antibodies or a history of atypical reactions to blood or blood products.

  Live vaccines.
