Indications Active immunisation against yellow fever.
Adult Dosage Single 0.5 mL dose by subcutaneous injection.
Child Dosage Over 9 months, single 0.5 mL dose by subcutaneous injection.
Contra Indications Acute febrile illness, impaired immunity, symptomatic or asymptomatic HIV positive patients, hypersensitivity to eggs or chick protein. Pregnancy.
Special Precautions Acute infections.
Adverse Drug Reactions Injection site reactions, headache, myalgia, low-grade fever. Rarely encephalitis, allergic reactions.
