• Indications
  Leprosy.
• Adult Dosage
  1-2mg/kg daily. Refer to manufacturer's prescribing information.
• Child Dosage
  As for adults.
• Contra Indications
  Severe anaemia. Porphyria.
• Special Precautions
  Use under specialist guidance only. Cardiac or pulmonary disorders. G6PD-deficiency. Lactation. Give folate supplements in pregnancy.
• Interactions
  Rifampicin, probenecid, PABA.
• Adverse Drug Reactions
  Blood disorders, rashes, GI upset, headache, hepatitis, psychosis.
