Tablets. - Indications
Parkinsonism (including drug- induced parkinsonism). - Adult Dosage
Initially 1 mg daily increasing over several days in increments of 1 or 2 mg. Usual maintenance, 5 - 15 mg daily in three or four divided doses; maximum 20 mg daily.

Not recommended. - Contra Indications
Tardive dyskinesia. - Special Precautions
GI obstruction. Narrow angle glaucoma. Prostatic hypertrophy. Cardiac, hepatic or renal disorders. Withdraw slowly. - Interactions
Phenothiazines, antihistamines and antidepressants. - Adverse Drug Reactions
Anticholinergic effects. Anticholinergic effects. Confusion, agitation and rash in high doses.
