  Ferrous fumarate
• Presentation
  Galfer: Ferrous fumarate 305mg (equivalent to 100mg Fe). Galfer Syrup: Ferrous fumarate 140mg per 5mL (equivalent to 45mg Fe per 5mL).
• Description
  Galfer: red/green capsules marked GALFER. Galfer Syrup: sugar-free, flavoured syrup.
• Indications
  Iron-deficiency anaemia.
• Adult Dosage
  One capsule or 10 mL syrup once or twice daily before meals.
• Child Dosage
  2.5 - 5 mL once or twice daily.
• Interactions
  Tetracyclines.
• Adverse Drug Reactions
  Nausea, constipation.
