• Generic Name
  Ferrous sulphate dried
• Presentation
  Capsules, dried ferrous sulphate 150mg (equivalent to elemental iron 47mg). Feospan is not prescribable on the NHS.
• Description
  Spansule capsules.
• Indications
  Prevention and treatment of iron deficiency.
• Adult Dosage
  One capsule per day, increasing to two capsules per day in more severe cases.
• Child Dosage
  One capsule a day. Capsule may be opened and the pellets mixed with soft, cool food but they must not be chewed.
