• Description
  150mg: tablets. 250mg: capsules.
• Indications
  

  Dissolution of radiolucent cholesterol gallstones.

• Adult Dosage
  

  3 - 4 daily in two divided doses after meals; one dose always after evening meal.

  Continue for 3 - 4 months after dissolution of stones.

• Child Dosage
  Not recommended.
• Contra Indications
  

  Non-functioning gall bladder. Women if not taking contraceptive measures (non-hormonal methods recommended). Active gastric or duodenal ulcer. Hepatic and duodenal ulcer. Hepatic and intestinal conditions interfering with enterohepatic cycling.

• Interactions
  

  Oral contraceptives. Oestrogens, cholesterol lowering agents.

• Adverse Drug Reactions
  Diarrhoea.
