  Sodium picosulfate [picosulpate]
• Presentation
  Liquid, sodium picosulfate 5mg per 5mL. Laxoberal is not prescribable on the NHS. Sodium picosulfate liquid must be prescribed generically.
• Description
  Liquid.
• Indications
  Constipation. Bowel clearance before surgery, labour or radiological examinations.
• Adult Dosage
  5 - 15 mL at night.
• Child Dosage
  Under 5 years, 2.5 mL; 5 - 10 years, 2.5 - 5 mL. Both at night.
• Special Precautions
  Inflammatory bowel disease.
• Interactions
  Antibiotics.
