300 mg: orange oval tablets coded DISTA 4019. 600 mg: orange tablets coded DISTA 4021. - Indications
Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthrosis, ankylosing spondylitis.
- Adult Dosage
300 - 600 mg three or four times daily; maximum 3 g daily. - Child Dosage
Not recommended. - Contra Indications
GI ulceration. Severe renal impairment. Aspirin/anti- inflammatory induced allergy. - Special Precautions
Pregnancy. Lactation. History of GI bleeding. Asthma. Renal or hepatic impairment, monitor on long term therapy; heart failure; elderly. - Interactions
Anticoagulants, hydantoins, hypoglycaemics, aspirin, phenobarbital (phenobarbitone), loop diuretics, quinolones. - Adverse Drug Reactions
GI intolerance, allergies, hepatic and renal disorders, blood dyscrasias.
