- Description
Capsules/tablets.
- Indications
Pain and inflammation in rheumatic disease and other musculoskeletal disorders.
- Adult Dosage
300mg in the morning and 600mg at night, or 450mg twice daily.
- Child Dosage
Under 14 years, not recommended.
- Contra Indications
Aspirin/anti-inflammatory induced allergy. Active peptic ulceration or history of GI lesions.
- Special Precautions
Renal or hepatic impairment, monitor on long term therapy; heart failure; elderly. Pregnancy, lactation.
- Interactions
Protein bound drugs, anticoagulants, quinolones, lithium, methotrexate.
- Adverse Drug Reactions
Rash (discontinue if occurs). GI intolerance. Very rarely allergic alveolitis and pulmonary eosinophilia.
