• Description
  Palfium Tablets: 5mg white scored tablets; 10 mg peach scored tablets.
• Indications
  

  Intractable pain.

• Adult Dosage
  Initially up to 5 mg orally then adjusted according to response.
• Child Dosage
  Initially up to 80 microgram/kg body-weight.
• Contra Indications
  Respiratory depression, obstructed airways. Labour.
• Special Precautions
  Chronic hepatic insufficiency. Hypothyroidism. Elderly. Pregnancy and lactation.
• Interactions
  MAOIs, CNS depressants.
• Adverse Drug Reactions
  Tolerance, dependence, dizziness, sweating, nausea.
