Tablets, benorilate (benorylate) 750mg. Available from Hillcross, Sterwin. Liquid, benorilate (benorylate) 4g per 10mL. Available from Generics UK, Hillcross, Sterwin. - Description
Tablets/liquid. - Indications
Mild to moderate pain. Pyrexia. - Adult Dosage
Tablets, two three times daily. Mixture, 5 mL twice daily. - Child Dosage
Not recommended. - Contra Indications
Haemophilia, gastric and duodenal mucosal lesions, lactation. - Special Precautions
History of bronchospasm, aspirin/ anti-inflammatory induced allergies. Renal or hepatic impairment; monitor renal and hepatic function on long term therapy, heart failure, elderly. Dyspepsia. Pregnancy.
- Interactions
Coumarin anticoagulants and hypoglycaemic agents (especially sulphonylureas), certain anti- inflammatory agents, uricosuric agents, methotrexate, spironolactone and corticosteroids. Antacids with enteric coated preparations.
- Adverse Drug Reactions
Allergic or asthmatic reactions. GI intolerance.
