Tablets, captopril 50mg, hydrochlorothiazide 25mg. - Description
White scored tablets coded AZE 50/25. - Indications
Mild to moderate hypertension in patients who have been stabilised on the individual components in the same proportions.
- Adult Dosage
One daily; maximum two daily. - Child Dosage
Not recommended. - Contra Indications
- Anuria
- aortic stenosis
- outflow obstruction
- Pregnancy
- lactation.
- Special Precautions
- Haemodialysis
- Renal impairment; monitor renal function, white cell count and urinary protein before and during therapy.
- Monitor serum electrolytes.
- Collagen vascular disease, anaesthesia, diabetes, hepatic impairment, gout.
